Question by Chriztina: How long should I allocate for the baby shower?
It’s a welcoming party and baby shower all in one. There are 21 people on the guest list. There’s going to be a game where people guess the amount of candy in the bottle and the prize will be awarded at the very end. There are 2 main games: a bottle race and finish the nursery rhymes. While we’re opening the gifts, we’re going to play baby bingo.
Most showers I’ve been to have been about 2 hours in length. Do you think that’s enough time considering the amount of possible guests and games being played?

Hi went to a similary numbered shower just this weekend. Gifts were unwrapped about 1/2 hrs in a couple of people left shortly after but most mingled & chatted for about another hr.
We played guess how many jelly babies in the oversized novelty baby bottle, match the name to the meaning, most interesting tea cup & a really unique pass the parcel about Mrs Right (pass right) & her shower. The story was found on the net but not sure where.

Question by trpaz2979: What is a memorable baby shower game idea?
I have all of the traditional shower game ideas, but I would like to do something that will be a memorable souvenir for the parents-to-be. I have seen ideas for writing letters to the baby and writing advice for the parents. Does anyone know of a creative way to put these together or have any other ideas? Thanks!
